After an eventful football, fastpitch softball and volleyball season that witnessed Moore going a perfect 5-0 against their crosstown foes, basketball players, wrestlers and swimmers are taking their shot at Moore War glory.
During football season, Moore was dominant defeating Westmoore, 38-13 and Southmoore, 28-20. Southmoore picked up a win over Westmoore, 19-7 leaving the Jags winless for the season.
On the diamond the Lady Lions continued those winning ways going 3-0 in the Moore War challenge, while Southmoore went 1-2 with a win over Westmoore to kick off the season. Westmoore could not pick up a win in the Moore Wars, but they did finish the season 20-16 overall.
Volleyball was a different story for the Lady Jags as they beat both challengers to go 2-0 on the court. Moore was just behind them with their only loss in the Moore War coming at the hands of Westmoore.
