At the start of the 2024-25 school year, athletic teams from Moore, Southmoore and Westmoore High Schools competed for the honor of hoisting the Moore Cup at the end of the school year.
Head-to-head competitions, tournament finishes, and state titles all played a role in determining who would walk away with the Moore Cup.
After a great season on the field, court, track, course and in the pool, the 2024-25 Moore Cup goes to the Moore Lions! With 51 total points, the Moore Lions were the clear winner this season. Runner-up was Westmoore, with Southmoore taking 3rd place.
Moore scored the highest in football, fastpitch, boys and girls cross country, volleyball, girls basketball, girls swimming, slow-pitch, baseball, girls track, and boys and girls golf.
Westmoore dominated boys swimming, boys and girls wrestling, boys track, boys tennis, and girls soccer.
Southmoore took top honors in boys basketball, girls tennis and boys soccer.
It was a great year for all three athletic departments, setting the stage for a great run at the cup when the 2025-26 season gets underway.
