9 Qs with Westmoore basketball player Ethan Wohletz – Presented by Christian Brothers Automotive

VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?

Ethan: When I was three years old and I joined the Upward league at my church.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Ethan: I have learned how to put in the hard work, leadership, and communication.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Ethan: I would say Zach Hays. He is a current teammate and we’ve been friends for a long time. I’m thankful to have him by my side on and off the court.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?

Ethan: Patrick Beverley, not because of his attitude but the way he plays the game. He is a great defender and will score when the team needs him to.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Ethan: My favorite part about wearing that Westmore jersey is all the hard work we have put in and it starting to pay off.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.

Ethan: I want to thank all my coaches that have put faith in me to go out and play for this team and my teammates who I’m out there playing with. I am thankful for my parents who have placed me in a position to succeed. And my little brother, Big O, who I’m always trying to set a good example for on that court.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Ethan: All the basketball guys and we are going skiing in Colorado.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Ethan: My history teacher from sophomore year taught me many life goals and is one of the only teachers I still have great communication with.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Ethan: If you’re not where you want to be, keep working and work harder than the person in front of you.
