VYPE: What do your teammates mean to you on this Westmoore basketball team?
Garrett: My teammates mean everything to me. Especially with the potential we have this year I like to do whatever I can to encourage my team by keeping the energy up and making sure they never get too down on themselves in rough times.
VYPE: When you hear coach call you an unsung hero of this team, what does that mean and how do you define that term?
Garrett: It means I’m doing my job. I don’t need the spotlight of the team and feel comfortable in the role I’m in to give my team the best advantage.
VYPE: What are you most excited about when you think about the upcoming season?
Garrett: Climbing our own way up in the playoffs and hopefully reaching that ultimate goal, winning state.
