High Praise for Chloi Thurman – Presented by Eskridge Honda

Westmoore senior Chloi Thurman looks to lead the Lady Jags to a season they will never forget.

When long time Westmoore girls soccer coach Robert Williams gives high praise to a player, you know they are someone to watch. Coming into the new season, coach Williams is singing the praises of several players including senior Chloi Thurman.

“Chloi Thurman is a senior that was a contributor as a freshman on the varsity. She led the team in assists last year with 19 and 10 goals. She led the team in points and was an MVP her junior season. The expectation is for her to continue this production,” said coach Williams.

We wanted to learn more about the Lady Jag who is expected to have another big year on the pitch.

VYPE: Chloi, how long have you played the game of soccer?

Thurman: I’ve played soccer for 13 years.

VYPE: What do your teammates mean to you?

Thurman: My teammates are like my second family. I wouldn’t be where I am today in soccer without them.

VYPE: What is the best thing about being a student-athlete at Westmoore?

Thurman: I love being a student-athlete because of the friendships I have made.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Thurman: I’m usually playing soccer or hanging out with my friends and family.
