VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?
Kevion: As a team we would we love to go back-to-back and hopefully break the 4×4 state record as well and personally I want to break the 400m state record and win state in the open 200.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Kevion: Probably last year when our coaches took the relay team fishing.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?
Kevion: Coach Grantham, he’s done so much for me to help me become a great young man.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Kevion: Definitely breaking the state record for the third time at Texas relays. It was a surreal moment.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Kevion: Has to be Angel, without him at practice and every meet racing me or pushing me I probably wouldn’t be where I’m at.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Kevion: Has to be Tristan, no matter the situation he’s going to say something funny he is pure comedy.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Kevion: The Bahamas for sure and honestly my family and I deserve a vacation.
VYPE: If we gave you 500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Kevion: I would go out shopping for me and my family.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Kevion: What’s up Zoey, I love you lil sis!
